We need to be in Level 2 for conservation work to resume, so are pushing this back again: new date to be advised….

Winter baiting campaign – phase 2: time to find out if we’ve got the rats on the run! We need to head out and empty all the bait stations. Not only does this clear the bush of toxin, we can physically assess the impact of our campaign by seeing how much Doubletap bait was (or wasn’t) eaten.

Can you tackle a couple of bait lines? A map and full instructions will be provided. Wear warm clothing and sturdy footwear. A backpack to carry any medication, a snack & a bottle of water is recommended. There will, of course, be a hot cuppa and fresh baking waiting at the kohanga when you return 🙂

This day is weather permitting: postponements will be posted here and on our Facebook page.
