WORK DAY – it’s time to monitor the effectiveness of the pest control we do by running another round of Rodent Tracking Indexes (RTI’s). We’d love help from volunteers to place and/or retrieve the inky cards across our network of tracking tunnel lines. And weather permitting, we’re also getting our wasp control programme underway – wasps are becoming an increasing nuisance in the forest and this year we’ll taking steps to control them using Vespex. We’ll need several willing volunteers to assist with bait stations.  Training will be given and the work will be supervised by authorised personnel.
