Work days – join us for a morning with Aongatete Forest Project. There are plenty of tasks on offer – check here regularly for specific details. Bring clothing and footwear suitable for walking both on and off track, gloves and pair of secateurs. Arrive at the kohanga ready to go at 8:30 am, and enjoy a morning cuppa and a chat before you head home at 12 noon.  Note, volunteer days at AFP are usually weather dependent – we may need to postpone or cancel and will update this calendar and post on Facebook if that is the case.

Discovery days – join us for morning of discovery! You’ll be rewarded with an aspect of the forest that you might not know about. Each ‘Discovery Day’ has a different theme and these will be confirmed the month before the event. Bring clothing and footwear suitable for walking both on and off track, water and personal medication etc. The allocated day for our discovery events may change depending on the event and the weather.
