Get your ears on and join us for the yearly census of these cheeky wee birds.  We will have experienced & qualified 5-minute bird count expert you can learn from.  AND… we’re doing RTI’s – rodent tracking index monitoring. The tracking tunnels need to be done to determine how well the recent baiting operation has gone.

Arrive at the kohanga ready to go at 9am.  You can either join the robin counting crew, or you can head out to place or retrieve ink cards from the tunnel network.

Bring clothing and footwear suitable for walking both on and off track in the bush.
